This place is on the outskirts of my town...very peaceful, where I could possibly paint plein air someday!! For now I have taken many snaps for reference. Even the last painting I posted was of this place.
What a beautiful big tree and a wonderful quiet place. The weather seems so nice in your painting. In Flanders it is cold and it's raining. Wish I could once see your country. But I have fear of flying... So this will be difficult. A lot of greetings!
Thanks Prabal! The tree was my subject and the center of interest and therefore this composition! Of course there are many ways to compose. I always do some cropping and composing prior to painting!
Thank you Liz! Thanks Sreenivasa! Annie, wish you could really come here! It would be so nice :) Imma, Paula and Maria...Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on my work! Its much appreciated.
What a beautiful atmospheric scene. I especially enjoy the subtle blues and purples of the tree shadow and the forground. The striking green/yellow of the background grass balances the painting, suggests the strong sun without dominating. I also love this tree and would like to see it in person!
You have a very fresh watercolor style, Ramesh. The sunny atmosphere is well depicted. I like the fact that you show people to give us an idea of the size of that ol' tree!
The light in your painting is just lovely, Ramesh.
ReplyDeleteThe Big DADDY of trees. Wow, it sure is and the people explain it even more. It is Tree-iffic!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Kathy! The people were added from imagination :)
Great lights. One can almost feel the shade here.
ReplyDeleteJust try cropping the picture from right and bottom. I think it will look even better.
Love the peace and quiet you've conveyed Ramesh but the figures and the bicycle are absolutely awesome! They make that tree look even bigger!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasant painting.
