And now...My favourite actor

Pencil on Paper
Need to tell his name?I don't think so...He is the most famous man in India(as told in Slumdog Millionaire).I've been his huge fan since I was a kid (as millions in India are and also around the world).I was obsessed with drawing his portraits since my school days. This portrait was done six years back when he turned sixty with the hope that one day I could gift it to the man himself. But the day is yet to come.Meanwhile, six years have gone by.Its not at all easy.He is getting busier by the day.But I've not lost hope!

My favourite singer

Pastel on Tinted Paper
Mohammed Rafi-The legendery singer of classic indian film music .He is my most favourite singer. He is my idol.I equally love music.I sing and play the keyboard as well.I have given performances on stage too, singing Rafi's songs.I hope to paint other great singers' portraits too and hang them in my music room!

Richa

Oil on Canvas (16" x 24")
This is a portrait of my niece Richa done by me last year. The sunlight coming in through the window, fell on her pink dress giving the whole place a warm glow which attracted me!

A Dog's Portrait

Watercolor on Paper (11" x 15")
I loved the dog's pose as though waiting to be painted! Also loved the contrast of its skin color and the blue wall.

Kaveri Bridge At Dusk

Watercolor on paper (12" x 16")
Hey guys! Wish You all a Happy New Year!I'm back from my wonderful trip.My new post is a painting of a bridge on the outskirts of my town.It was dusk and everything was blue except for the lights which were in contrast.I used a blue tinted sheet and added washes for the sky portion.I used opaque for the lights on the bridge.
