When I look at my blog list, this picture immediately stands out. The strong values in the shadows grab the eye, and then the wonderful blues lead the eye to the distance where the people remind us that we are in a real time and place. Very beautiful.
Okay, This is the painting that you were talking about. This is nice. The finishing touches with pastel have worked well. I would have liked those two people in the background with softer edges as if merging into the background.
