Watercolor on Paper ( 15" x 20" inches)

I am working on a theme of 'Light and Shade' right now. This is one of them which I did a few days ago.

  2. Good work Ramesh. But one thing is just troubling my 'logicl' mind. :). The light in the foreground seems to cut the grass track in the middle of the path into pieces. Whats your take on that??

  3. Oh my Ramesh, your colours are awesome. That purple tone in front just adds to the overall feeling of warmth and heat and that dappled light is so restful.

By the way, I read somewhere (if I remember correctly), that en plein air refers to the capturing of light rather than just painting outside.
