The Bilbao Project

Recently, I was commissioned to paint 2 paintings of Bilbao city by the BETA PICTORIS Gallery in Bilbao, Spain. The Bilbao project is about painting different scenes of the city by a closed group of artists from different countries, of which I am a member too.

    Both paintings are stunningly beautiful in their own way. One in blue is so serene and the one in orange is glowing with light.

    Very nice handling of colors here. The oranges in the mountain and sea, and the blues of the soft shadows in Getro Marina. And the oranges in 5th parish held together with the darker treeline. The purple tint in the skyline blending with the background structures.
