  1. Ramesh,
This is too good. I realy appreciate your patience to paint so many details. The best part is that the details have actually added life to the painting. Most of the time details can be very distracting, but here they are great. How much time did you take to do this??
There is one suggestion. Just an opinion. The far house roofs (2 of them) have a very contrasting blue in them. I think lifting it off and making the tone alomost same as the building themselves would be great.

  2. Very atmospheric. I wish I could walk in that street. You have a beautuful country. Good work!

  3. The two deep-blue shadow-strokes are necessary for the balance of this composition I think...

  4. Love the force that draws you into this.
The wonder and wandering evoked by the less finished distance compared to the forground.
That aqua green is my Favorite color! I have antique shutters and a carved wooden peice from Indonesia hanging in my living room just because... that wonderful color!

  7. Prabal,
Thanks! It were these details that made this scene interesting and challenging to paint. And the comments suggest that everyone's liked it! I'm happy!
Regarding the two roofs, I agree the tones are dark. I'm not sure if I should attempt to correct it or leave as it is for the fear of ruining it!
