Shimmering Water At The Ghat

This painting was done from a photograph taken by me in Varanasi.I was attracted by the glittering water and the silhouetted figures at the ghat.

    I am new to your blog and enjoy it very much. It's interesting to see the differences in color and atmosphere in India vs. San Diego... the cultural differences too. Lots of great color. I think you did a masterful job handling the light and atmosphere in this painting.
